Quick recap from last week. I introduced you to two main types of email marketing-automated drip campaigns and broadcasts (often called blasts). I went into detail on the automated drip campaign and you can read it here.
Now we move on to the power of the broadcast email.
This is the moment you step into your authority, your personality, and your visibility as a local service provider that people not only remember, but recommend.
It’s part of what we call the Get Known Strategy. We’ve sold this training for years through Notary Coach, and now it’s available free to High Performance Notary members.
But here’s the short version:
Create content (Like a blog or vlog).
Email it to your database.
Post to socials.
Repeat.
You already know people do business with those they know, like, and trust. The broadcast email allows you to cultivate that relationship over time without cold calling, awkward networking, or begging for appointments.
Even if you don’t have a big list yet, this strategy still works.
And with today’s tools, especially AI, creating that content is easier than ever.
Blog articles or videos. Written or recorded. You choose your strength. Just choose something you’ll actually do.
You may be asking yourself why you should do this? You just want to be a notary. I get that, trust me, do I get that. It would be a great life if we could just sit around doing the fun part of the job, helping people, knowing the phone rings with new appointments all day long, but that’s not how this works for most of us.
No, the rest of us have to start thinking like marketers. And content creation, done properly, and distributed via email and social media, is what works in this age of business.
Because that’s how people come to know who you are, what you do, and why they should trust you. That’s how referrals happen. That’s how long-term connections are made.

If you commit to sharing even one piece of content a month, that’s 12 ways to deepen trust, stay top of mind, and show people that you’re not just a “stamp and sign” kind of notary, you’re a professional with a point of view.
I recommend a weekly rhythm if you can. But consistency trumps perfection. Choose what you can commit to.
Here’s the part most people skip (and it’s why their content doesn’t get seen):
Send it to your email list.
Create three social media posts and schedule throughout the week
That’s it. One email. Something like:
“Hey [First Name],
I wrote something I think you’ll find useful (or fun, or timely). Here’s the link. I’d love to know what you think!”
This simple step keeps you in their inbox in the best way.
Then share the article or video on your social media accounts, spread over a week with three different posts, all pointing back to your article/website. It doesn’t have to be fancy. A quick caption like:
“Wrote this for anyone wondering what kind of ID works for a notarization in [State]. Feel free to share!”
That’s it.
You get visibility.
You become an authority.
You gain momentum.
This is what we mean when we say leverage long-term connection strategies.
Marketing isn’t just ads or tricks. It’s staying in a relationship with the people who already said “yes” to you.
